Gilian Espadrille Wedge Slide Sandal (Women)

What a lovely shoe, and I wish I could keep them. But my feet are thin, not in width so much as in HEIGHT. As such, my feet slide forward too much, they don't hit the woven leather top in the right spot. I guess these shoes are designed for a "fatter" foot than mine. They were too loose to keep.

As usual, Vince has produced a beautifully constructed shoe with high quality materials. The Blonde suede is a gorgeous neutral for fair legs. Despite the height of the wedge, the shoe is completely supportive and does not feel as high as it is. To me, Vince usually runs a tad bit small so I usually size down from my usual 6.5 to 6. The suede on this shoe is so puffy that it created a more narrow opening for my average width foot. I sized up to 6.5 and it was still too snug - even considering the normal stretch you get with suede. Unfortunately, I must return these gorgeous shoes.
