Gylina Knee High Boot (Women)

I purchased my regular size (10) and it was comfortable and easy to walk and stand long periods. The shaft would come up right below the knees. I have thick calves and the shaft was not loose at all... So skinny calves might have issues. The loose shafts will allow me to tuck in my skinny jean pant legs. . It has the just right height I like. Got them on super sale so I am extremely happy

The new 'Gylina' boot by Vince Camuto is a gorgeous style. In my normal boot size, the fit for both length and width is very good. There's no pinching or soreness and I've worn this style all day long with no issues. The heels are tall but that's a requirement for me. I've had no trouble standing, walking, or driving in these heels. I'm 5'6" tall and the shafts of the boots come up to just below my knees. My calves are 14 1/2" around... about average, I'd say. Neither skinny nor muscular. The shafts are form-fitting and the full-length zipper is a huge benefit. I'm able to pull on the boots and zip them up easily! There's a slight elastic gusset on the inside of the shafts so customers with slightly larger calves can zip them on without going to a wider calf. Customers with muscular calves can pick the wide-calf or extra wide-calf variations. Always, always, always measure your calves and check the designer's measurements before ordering new boots. If you're not sure then make it a point to stop by your favorite retailer for a try-on. Prices this season have been very good since Black Friday so I was fortunate enough to purchase all of the colors. Got 'em all! Yay! The quality of the materials and the construction of the boots are both very good for the price. I recently wore my Fawn 'Gylina' boots and an admirer stopped me on the way into my office building. She complimented me on my boots and asked me the style name and where she could find them. Double Yay! As a boot lover, I'm always glad to help out when I can. Buy these boots! Your future self will thank you!

I really like these boots, the fit is perfect and they look great. the only complaint I have is the heel is a little slippery and goes out from under me when I walk. I will need to take them to a cobbler & get a rubber heel put on. The heel feels like plastic. That's the only reason for the 4 star review.
