I could probably live with the shedding, but the open back style is just a touch too low to wear with a strapless bra. Surprisingly comfortable, the lining prevents the sequins from poking you (a problem in some sequined dresses). Was a nice fit across my waist, and since the back was open. Length hit me just below the knees, a flattering location. For reference, I'm 5' 1" bust 42", waist 36", belly 40", hips 41.5".
