Cable Front Cardigan

This cropped cardigan is TTS, the length is perfect for my petite frame. I could see it could be too short for some one taller. Sleeves are a tad long but not obnoxiously long. It’s airy loose knit, so at the first sight it appears bulky, but it doesn’t bother me. I just hope it will keep its shape after hand wash and air dry. The ivory color is lovely and versatile.

It’s difficult to describe how awful this cardigan is in real life so I’ve included a photo (I’m 5’3 115 lbs wearing my usual Vince size XS). It’s cropped in length and sleeves, the colour is a flat purple (not a nice one) and worst of all, it’s a chunky stiff & scratchy knit that feels like 100% plastic, though the tag says 70% cotton/30% nylon. All this can be yours for $500. Vince used to be synonymous with quality and elegance and this is neither. I was expecting a soft ethereal looking sweater — a little sheer as in photos — with a comfortable fit and feel and definitely not cropped; online photos show much longer length in body and sleeves. Cheap in look and feel — though not price — with totally misleading photos. Super disappointing.
