soft but heavy
I really liked the softness and firmness of these jeans, but they were significantly heavier, smaller all around, and with a shorter front crotch length than the 'dark wash' indigo version of the same pant. The size 29 in 'washed black' fits more like the size 28 in dark wash blue version. Also it is more of a flare style than bootcut, so if you are looking for the 90's flare revival, this is for you. I was looking for an actual bootcut so unfortunately they didn't work out.

More of a flare than boot cut
Runs big, I would size down. The leg opening is very wide, kind of a retro flare look (not boot cut) so had to return.
