W fits more like an N
The sole of this shoe is narrower than my (narrow) wrist. The shoe itself stretches wider than that, barely, but it is definitely not a true Wide (W). These were given to me as a present from my mom, and so it is complicated to return them. My feet aren't so wide that I always need a W--I sometimes wear regular-width shoes--but in this case I felt my nerves pop just from my initial effort to squeeze into this supposedly wide shoe. I have had them on for two minutes and my feet are throbbing.

Good looking shoes!
Beautiful shoe, but unfortunately, I have hard to fit feet and they were perfect fit (I had ordered both an 8 and 8-1/2 (both AAwidth). Length and width especially was good on one pair. I would have kept the good fitting length-wise shoe except that the front side edge cut into the insteps on my feet right at the last big toe bone (on both pairs actually).

looked great, fit terrible
The shoes looked very nice; however, they had an odd fit in the toes and in general. Even after stretching them they didn’t fit well.
