What it is: A maximum-strength moisturizer for dry, active hands.
What it does: It helps protect against and repair the appearance of severe dryness caused by heavy industrial work, manual labor, neglect or exposure to harsh elements. The salve allows the skin to draw and absorb water from the air, forming a glovelike protective barrier against moisture loss. It's formulated with a blend of botanical oils and natural wax derived from olive oil to soothe, moisturize and condition skin.
How to use: To address severe dryness, apply hand salve liberally to clean hands. For best results, reapply to hands after washing.

Winter Relief
We live in the Midwest and this winter has been a harsh one. Our skin really suffers with the super dry air from using the heater to keep us warm in the below-zero weather. My husband's hands get dry from all the shoveling of snow and just everyday exposure to cold and heat and dry air. Kiehl's hand cream has been a nice relief for his cracking/chapping skin hands. He puts it on his hands at bedtime to hydrate his hands.

AMAZING STUFF!
I can’t believe how good this is! I’ve used dozens and dozens of hand creams and lotions over the years, and this one is so much better than the others that it’s spooky. I wash my hands many times every day. I use good quality soaps but my hands get very dry. One application of this product softens and moisturizes them for the whole day, with none of the waxy feeling you usually get in an extra strength hand care treatment. I already use several of Kiehl’s other products, and now I’m adding this one to my every day regimen.
