Plastic soles on Walking Shoes?????
I have a very difficult finding shoes that fit properly and this one did with one HUGE exception. The sole they put on the shoe is made of PLASTIC and, as others have noted, is very slippery. I have purchased many pairs of Trotters over the years and they all have had rubber soles. So why would they use plastic particularly on shoes that were designed for walking! Makes no sense. Very disappointed.

Navy flats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to wear these shoes because I have been looking for navy flats forever! Unfortunately I had to return them. They were very comfortable, but the soles were man made and very slippery. I couldn't get a grip when I was walking and I was afraid that I would fall. If you're not a klutz like me then you'll love these shoes. True to size, comfortable and easy to pair with clothes.

Comfortable stylish shoes
Receive the shoes today and I love them. I wore them all day in the house to test them. I was concerned because of the other reviews that said they experienced rubbing on the heel. They are very comfortable, stylish, and they offer support. I was so pleased that I ordered them in another color today.

cute but...
Exactly what I was looking for..black flat that would go with everything. But it felt like someone was trying to kill me by rubbing the skin off my heel. Sadly returned.

uncomfortable at heel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I often purchase Trotters because of my difficult shoe size (12N). I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe for a trip to Paris. Although the shoe was similar in appearance to the shoes I ended up buying and the price was good, it was stiff and painful in the heel. Usually Trotters are a little wide (even in narrow size), but in this shoe, the sizing was off. I bought flat, comfortable walking shoes by Softwalk and Munro instead.

Comfortable and goes with everything
I ordered these in both black and brown in my usual size, a 13N (thanks, Nordstrom!) and they fit perfectly. They have a somewhat square toe, which looks good and is also very comfortable. The heel stays in place and the fabric is attractive. I have a hard time finding shoes that look good and that I can walk in, and these are great. I've already worn them several times, with both dresses and pants.
