Cute, but runs huge
I really love the style of this skirt, but it's GIGANTIC. Firstly, it was too long on me, but I was expecting that. (I'm 5'1 and ~98lbs, for reference.) But I ordered a 23 (my usual size), and it was comically large -- literally falling down, had to pinch whole handfuls of fabric to estimate the alterations. Like, not even close! My tailor would have had to deconstruct and re-cut the entire garment to make it work. It's also very soft, stretchy denim-twill fabric, so it would loosen up throughout the day. I guess I could have worn it as a low-rise skirt, but that's not the style I was looking for. When I measured the waist with a flexible tape measure, it was about 27.5in (unstretched!). Such a shame; this skirt is otherwise exactly what I wanted. Returned.
