Yes, "shimmery", NOT silver
These shoes fit like all the TOMS shoes I have. I wear a 6 in many sneakers, but a 5.5 in TOMS. The footbed is more cushioned than my old TOMS, which is great, but they are not silver, as the description claims. They are a pewer/goldish color. If you zoom in on the photos, that's what they look like. I like them. They also are soft enough on the inside that you could wear them without socks -- no scratchy or stiff seams. I put them on and then re-laced them so they fit my feet perfectly. Good summer shoe for dresses, jeans, or shorts, especially if you have ugly feet that are in need of a pedicure .....
