Top Sail 9" Shorts

Prior to my personal purchase of these shorts, I performed a diligent research to find the right shorts at a the right price. Pretty much what everyone does these days. Of course, as part of this process, I did read the various reviews to further educate my shopping decision. As it is easier to truly make a decision, sometimes it is prudent to visit a Nordstrom Rack store near you for a physical, tangible, hands on feel and fit shopping experience. If you have this opportunity and the time, you should definitely try on a pair first to ensure the size, fit, and fabric are right for you. That is what I did, and glad that I took the opportunity to do so. Fortunately, there is a Rack store near me. They did not have my size, but I tried on the size 33. I liked the fabric, comfort, and fit. I knew I needed a size up, which a 34 is perfect for me. I understand that some people think that the shorts are a bit wide, maybe "flair" out a bit in the thighs, but I personally think that they fit me perfectly. I have a 6'1''/195/Athletic build and feel that these shorts deliver the quality, size, and color that I have been in search for across several similar brands. Great value for the current price. Also, from a color perspective, I did not want the shorts to be too white, and this Bleached Sand color absolutely meets my expectation and mathes well with my Tommy Bahama t-shirts and pullovers. Ideal for a variety of activities - from the course to the club house, to Greece!
