Shimmering Shores Metallic Leaf Print Split Neck Top

What’s not to love about this showstopper blouse? It has feminine sleeves, gold threaded leaves, billowing material that makes a body feel comfortable, a flattering v-neck for anyone who has a shorter neck, and the white will compliment pale skin tones along with the gold it’s good for olive skin tones too. What didn’t work for me: I’m 5’2”, 183lbs, 42DD The coloring was great. However the fit was off. I’m not used to buying Tommy Bahama so I bought an XL in this. Some people say size down one size. Sometimes it says true to size. I have now found when it says “true to size” go with that. Otherwise size down one size in the shirts. The dresses seem to stay true to size so far too. I bought the XL in this blouse. The top was swimming on me at the top and I am busty. The top does not indent at your waistline. So it doesn’t really add for a flattering fit. The material next to my skin around the rounded edges of the neckline were itchy and scratchy. The gold thread from the leaves is not soft. I’m fair skinned and sensitive so it makes me turn pink and if I scratch I turn red. So unfortunately those were the problems for me. My downsides can be upsides for others with different body types and they don’t have the skin sensitivity.
