Im going to guess this bag was designed around the time the Motorola razr came out in 2004, since thats the only phone that could possibly fit in the strap phone compartment. The strapes aren't as sturdy as I would want. The water bottle spaces on the sides are deep enough and have good grip to keep large bottles secure. All in all its a good bag.
