Wool Blend Wide Leg Pants

The size on the product listing says 12. But rather the tag sewn into the pans says l. I’m assuming for large. But it first like an XXS. I usually wear a medium. Size 10 in pants. I purchased the 12 because it was the only one available, thinking I’d just belt them. Something is not right with this listing or the pants. They also have wide yellow sticking down the outside of the legs.
