Demetria Stretch Wool Pants

Loved the fabric, weight & cut. Love the bootcut rather than true wide leg pants, very flattering But definitely runs small (true to brand!) I’m reordering it in size 8. Also, i like a 32 inseam so I’d need the bottom hemmed. All the trouble will be worth it, you’ll get a lot of mileage from this “not basic at all” chic black pants!

Nice wool quality, sleek cut. For reference: 84 lbs and 5’ typically a 00P. Will hem up 6” and take waist in by 2”. Loose fit in thighs, but not bad. Still has slim flared leg look. Will be dressing it casually with Hogan cool sneakers.

I wanted a nice pair of dress pants that is flattering and looks classy. The reviews were really good so I figured I’d try these. I felt the thigh area was too tight compared to the waist size. And they are extremely long. They also felt itchy. I generally wear a 6 and had to buy an 8. But then the waist was slightly baggy and the zipper area was bunchy. However the thigh area couldn’t have been smaller or I wouldn’t have fit. So I wear a 6 in the waist and an 8 in the thighs I guess. So just an odd sizing for such a premium brand.

Unless you’re 6ft, you will need these hemmed. I’m 5’7 and even with heels, these would trail on the ground. Slimming cut, you need to be on the small-side of your size.

I love theory but I couldn’t even get behind these pants. Oddly they felt like polyester pants I purchased from Express back in my 20s. Maybe it’s because they were unlined but I just didn’t like the feel and stretch of these pants. However fit was great. Bought a 0 and I normally wear a 25.
