MOTHER

Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

Button fly

I was excited when these Jean shorts went on sale and immediately purchased. However, the description says zip fly/button closure, but they have a button fly. It added bulk, so sadly these are going back.

softest shorts

Love these summer shorts. Sized up since I don’t like tight shorts. For reference 5’4 110lbs & went with a 26 for comfort.

Love these shorts

These shorts are the perfect length with just the right amount of distress. So cute. A perfect summer staple

Not as cute on

I found that the legs in the shorts were wider than pictures, and kicked out/flared. This created a very unflattering shape that made my thighs look huge. Had to return.

awesome!

These shorts are awesome. I wear anywhere from a 28 to 30 depending on the style in mother jeans. But they feel pretty true to size. These shorts are not too long and not too short. Everything is covered and are very flattering.
