I love Madewell and an avid buyer of their denim. Im 5’ 7”, 170lbs and have a smaller waist, with wider hips (usually purchase their curvy jeans size 28/29 if possible) and purchased these jeans in a size 28 - they have stretched out just a little bit, but definitely not 2 sizes like other reviews have stated. These jeans are a thicker denim with a little bit stretch to hold their shape and move/bend easily in. Great color. So far so good and wear them on the daily. This crop/wide leg style jean styles well with sneakers, Chelsea boots and flats. I just wish they had more colors or washes in this style - ORDER THESE ASAP 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

great stretch!
I’m so disappointed I listened to the reviews to size down due to the stretch. They are wrong! Now, these jeans are very fitted but wearable with Madewells great construction.

stretched out quickly
These jeans are cute and comfortable, but they stretched so badly they no longer fit. They’re just too big. I’d say go down at least one size, or 2 sizes if you want a tighter fit. I also had to get them hemmed about 2 inches (I’m 5’6).
