Ripped after one wear / wash

I absolutely loved these jeans. I normally wear a size 30 but all over the place in this brand. I found these to run a little small but 31 fit me perfect. I wore them and washed them one time and went to put them on today and they completely ripped by the belt loops on both sides when I sat down. These aren’t tight on me and I can’t believe the denim is that weak that they ripped! I’m so sad as these were expensive jeans.
