Ruffle Strap Empire Waist Tiered Cotton Midi Dress

I am glad I bought this dress despite the 1 star review. The dress actually fits just like the picture and I think, looks better on a taller vs. shorter woman, and also looks good if you have a larger bust or at least a medium bust because it emphasizes this area without showing too much, just like the picture. The material does not feel high quality but it is comfortable and lightweight. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the underarms to this dress are too big and if you have underarm fat, it will show and I don't know how to correct that in this dress. However, if you don't have a lot you can get away with it, and like the other reviewer said, maybe it shows less with a larger bust. You can wear a belt with it or not, if you want a more defined waist and if you want to hide your tummy, this dress does that and you can just feel comfortable.

This style of dress is typically very flattering on my figure but this cut is strange. The color is beautiful but with the cut, the pleat makes my stomach look like it’s pooched out and is very unflattering. From the side it’s pretty but straight on it looks like I have a balloon in my front. I can’t return because it was final sale. I might add a cardigan but if I was able I’d return.
