How to use: Get generous from roots to ends, no skimping. Shingle or finger coil for curls that pop off. Diffuse or sit under the dryer until completely dry. Fluff and separate once completely dry. Spritz with water to rework anytime.

Works amazing

It works extremely well, my first time having day 3 curls!!! my only issue is the squeeze top. it’s extremely hard to get out.

PACKAGING IS KEEPING ME AWAY

One star because it does not matter how AMAZING a product is if you cannot access it! I have issues with joint pain in my hands and cannot deal with how hard it is to get product out of this bottle even though it is probably my fave gel ever ....the smell the hold.... But you can't even really use a spatula to get it out easily because of the corners! Please PUT IT IN A TUB like the others or a soft squeeze bottle (nothing with hard plastic and corners like the gel pumps! almost as annoying). The doux is my favorite but the packaging is so hit or miss (the aerosol free mousse pumps and tubs are great) It would also be so nice to have the option of lower plastic refill options or bulk sizes.

Long Lasting Defined Wash-n-Go!

This product flakes, I haven’t isolated the reason yet, I’m thinking over manipulating throughout the 2 weeks, adding leave in to remoisturize after a week. I'm not sure. HOWEVER, the long lasting definition is by far the reason I will continue using and do my hair detective work. My curls have never been this defined after 10 days of a wash-n-go! The combo was Bananas and Chief Rocka 😊. I will continue to use this combo and figure out what is causing flakes.

Used to be PERFECT, formula changed

This was an amazing gel. Provided strong hold and amazing definition that made my WnG last 2 weeks. But they recently changed the formula to make it more liquidity and easy to pump. Now I don’t get strong hold. New formula is crap. No longer for 4c curls. Why mess with something that was perfect?! If customers dont like the strong hold, direct them to another product. Don’t change the formula and ruin a product that was amazing for those of us that need the strong hold.

Go back to original formula

I love this product and use it on all of my clients. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is because it seems the product has changed since you’ve added a pump. Please go back to the original formula and maybe put it in a jar over a pump so that the formula and consistency can stay the same.

Great product, bad bottle design

I love this product but the bottle is hard to squeeze making it very difficult to get the product out of the bottle. Maybe consider a different top? A pump would be great

Great gel but new bottle please!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this gel it gets my hair so defined and shiny and it lasts a long time BUT can we PLEASE get new packaging! I hate this bottle with a passion! it’s way to hard to squeeze and the product is not easy to get out.

Horrible non functioning bottle.

Just purchased this gel because of the scent, brought it home and tried using it. Though the gel smells great like bananas, once it’s in your hair it does not. The very worst part of the experience because the gel itself works great! The worst part is trying to fit your hand around this very hard bottle to try and squeeze even a drop out. You will be trying forever, even removing the cap you have to stick your finger in the small opening to get a little out. PLEASE PLEASE redesign this bottle experience for a great product.

Great Product and Now Comes w/ a Pump Top!

Let me just start by saying the Doux B.A.N.A.N.A.S gel is my absolute favorite natural hair product right now. It can hold my wash and go’s down all week long and helps my mini twists go the distance even through heavy workouts. But the reason I wanted to come here to leave a review is because I received a new order today and was delighted to see that the company has added a pump top. Just when I thought I couldn’t love this product more, they go and do this. Excellent all around.

Owners please read!!

The ONLY reason im giving two stars is because I nearly broke my fingers trying to get the stuff out of the container. The fact that nearly every review is about the same complaint is very telling. As much as I loved the results of my hair after...it's not worth a trip to the ER ..PLEASE CHANGE THE CONTAINER PRONTO!!!!
