Taylor Barn Jacket

I was looking forward to this barn jacket but it makes me look like a Little Rascals character wearing an oversized coat to try to pass for an adult. I ordered my usual size, XS, but it fits like a M or L. Will be returning. I do like the interesting closure and the material feels like pretty good quality if not a little stiff.

Order one size down. The photo of the model clearly shows that it’s an oversized fit. If you want it completely fitted to you then order two sizes down. This is a fantastic jacket and will be great for this upcoming winter. Outerwear is typically expensive so for the cost of this, I’d say this is more than reasonably priced. Wish it had internal pockets but other than that, I love it and think it will last me multiple winters

This was beautiful in the photos. I often size up in coats and jackets for layering and was hopeful the raglan construction would minimize the oversized appearance. This jacket is HUGE; I'm not sure that even my regular size would have worked. The greater issue, however, is how bulky it is. It looked like it still had the hanger in it when I tried it on. I don't care for the stiff, synthetic fabric either. This is a MISS. I purchased a similar option from Banana Republic (on sale, but still about twice this price) and am very happy-- soft, drapey, and a great many thoughtful details.
