Marsha Knit Shorts

I was at Nordstrom Rack shopping for shorts and saw a rack of these at the entrance to the dressing rooms. I was surprised because shorter men's shorts are hard to find in stores and can be challenging to find online in the traditional department store environment. Usually it involves searching specialty sites with athletic stuff -- gym shorts, running shorts and I don't always like the design, side splits, logos, fabrics, etc. I tried these on and was instantly sold on them. Exactly what I have been wanting. Soft. Comfortable. I tried on the small because they seemed like they would be stretchy and loose. PERFECT! I'm 6'1 but skinny, usually wearing a 30 or 31 in shorts and jeans. I wanted something comfortable for hot weather and I have no qualms about showing some leg. It never occurred to me these were marketed as women's shorts. Since they had pockets, I had no idea because women often complain about shorts not having pockets and they have to get men's shorts for pockets. It wasn't until I got home and looked at my receipt and noticed these are referred to as "Marsha Knit Shorts." Guy stuff never uses a woman's name. These look HOT and I don't care who they are marketing to. But, some advice to Union Bay: maybe plop these into a unisex category and broaden your target group! These look amazing on a guy with the right build.
