Shay Pointed Toe Slingback Flat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted these to be my go to fall shoe, but they are pretty uncomfortable. The strap across the back of the foot has three pieces of leather that wrap around the elastic, so it rubs on both sides of the ankle/foot. The heel piece is very comfortable because of the leather wrapping there, but the joining pieces rub and sort of pinch. And then the shape of the shoe confines your toes, and because of the elastic pushing your feet into the toe it becomes very uncomfortable quickly. The woven caning leaves imprints and rubs against all your toes. In addition to this they are awkward to walk in. The back of the heel is square and doesn’t step easily. I don’t know how to describe it, but it just doesn’t have a natural gate, and you have to over lift your step not to drag your heel. Then because they are such a flat bottom it’s kind of a slapping step down to the toe. It feels like you are shlepping around or high stepping to avoid the shlepping. I will say, I love the way they look, and they add a great vibe to an outfit. But the love ends the minute I walk away from the mirror.

Great quality. So pretty with trousers and jeans. Run true to size; however, the left strap struggles to stay on my heel which is due to the leather potentially arriving uneven. Able to adjust but not ideal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I stumbled upon this amazing Slingback and boy am I ever glad I did! Color is amazing!! I’m a true 9 and this fits true to size with a nice wider strap in the back. Great flat for any wide legs or palazzos that are so popular this season!!

Cute pointy toe, but way too long. I’m consistently a 9. 5 and my foot was sliding all over the place and extra space behind my heel…even when I tightened the buckle. Size down! Such a cute style but not very soft. Couldn’t risk keeping them and having my feet ripped up. Sadly, they do not have them in a 9 or I’d give those a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went 1/2 size up and could have gone a whole size up. I’m a true size 7 and these shoes while very cute run absurdly small. Buyer beware because they were final sale and I can’t return them.

They seem quality and are beautifully crafted but until I can figure out what size fits, I can’t tell if they’re comfortable yet.
