Sterling Silver Created Moissanite Earrings

The earrings face up are beautiful and just like shown in the photo. They are near-colorless and SI2-I1 in clarity. One stone shows wispy veils and the other a "rainstorm" of inclusions. These aren't bothersome to me at all for the price and are not notifiable enough for me to return them. My complaint is the posts. These are designed for those with very thick earlobes. The backs stop about where you see them in the photo causing them to droop down on the ear at about a 90 degree angle. Not flattering at all. I took a silicone backing from a shepherd hook earring, cut it in half and put one of each half as my backing prior to the backs they came with. This will solve my drooping problem for now. I will likely reset the stones into a better functioning setting. It's too bad because the settings really are cute.
