SPANX

The bold mission of SPANX: to make the world a better place, one butt at a time. For founder Sara Blakely, it all started in 2000 with a bad case of VPL: visible panty lines. She cut the feet off her control-top pantyhose, and a shapewear empire was born. Today these undergarments are wardrobe staples for women and men who trust SPANX to slim their silhouettes and boost their confidence.

Easy to put on, perfect for low backed dress

I bought this after trying two other brands that were either so tight I needed a helper or they shome through on my low back dress. This one is perfect. It's really easy to get in to and it can be worn without the back strap and will still stay up! My usual size XL fit perfectly.

Overpriced and under delivers

I’m a Spanx fan, but I have no idea what they were thinking when they designed this unit. I’m a 34 DDD cup size, and typically wear a medium in Spanx bodysuits, however, in this unit, the medium worked for the body, but my goodness the girls were coming out on the left and the right!! The material is very thin, and given the price… I’m very surprised at how much it underperforms and its lack of support.

WONDERFUL

I always come back to Spanx every time I try other they never compare to Spanx. I love how the suit your fancy plunge low-back fit my body like a glove and made my dress fit like a glove.

Comfortable and effective but beware of a quirk!!

This piece definitely worked to smooth and shape comfortably and looked amazing under my Bodycon dress I intended to wear it with; HOWEVER I noticed that the seams in the gusset area are VISIBLE as soon as a slightly bent over and shows an outline that essentially looks like an oversized panty liner that went up the middle of my booty! I am returning this since I bought it specifically to wear under this dress, BUT I’m sure this problem is definitely unique only to tighter dresses. If your garment is heavily lined or less fitted, it would be very well used!

Not for me

I used to swear by spanx though in the last few years I feel as if they are no longer for me. Spanx shapewear used to smooth everything out for me. I would wear them all the time. Lately, they don't snatch at the waist where I need it the most. I purchased this item for my upcoming wedding. It did not do much for me. The boob area was not very secure. My butt wasn't lifted and my wasitline was not there. I also had boob spillage under my arms. At this heafty price, I am forced to return. I prefer SKIMS to be honest.

Does nothing for the girls

If your chest is larger than a C I would absolutely skip this style. The design of the cup pushes your breasts flat. Not very flattering.

makes my boob squished and flat

This does not have a flattering fit, i was hoping it would smooth out my tummy but it just pushes all the back fat up to your armpits and squishes my boobs and makes it look flat, i’m a 38B wearing a medium on this

It just does not work

I ordered a Medium and a Large. I am normally a medium. The medium is too tight in the chest (34D) and the large one is too large in the chest, there are gaps on each side, and I couldn't fasten either on the back. Who is this made for? And the fact that it does not have snaps in the crotch is just so disappointing.

So close...

Please do not waste your time on this one. While the leg portion was fine, there was no tummy support - it's basically a piece of stretchy fabric and fits kind of loose. If your boobs are bigger than a C (maybe even B) cup, it's not going to cover your chest at all. I ordered a Medium and returned.

Smoothing but ...

Picked this item for shapewear for wedding dress due to the low back feature. It overall was smoothing however the cups sat lower than my chest. My dress has built in cups so it just made everything look weird. It could be the torso length but it just didn’t work.

no support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The body suit was a little tight, barely could get it on. Once on it did a great job flattening everything, including my breast. The cups have zero supper and your breasts just fall out the sides. This was returned

bad size guide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a medium because I’m a 32DD and wanted the cups to fit. At best, I’d say the cup size is only a C and the rest of the garment was too loose to be worth it.
