Super tight, low velvet pile
I've never worn leggings from this brand before. I bought a Small. My waist is 25 and my hips are 37.5-38", usually wear size 4 or a small in jeans and leggings. The medium probably would've fit my hips better but I most likely would've had a problem with the waist gaping and they would've fallen down. These are super skin tight on my hips and the waist just fits as is. Probably better suited to someone without any curves. I also noticed the rise is on the shorter side, but I have a feeling it's fitting me like that because I'm stretching out the seat area. If you have a narrow build and not much of a butt, these will fit you in your usual size. If you are curvier and don't have a well defined waist, you'll need to SIZE UP! The velvet material is nice, but I would've liked it better if it were a little thicker, like a typical stretch velvet fabric . Otherwise these are really cute and I'll most likely wear them with heels and a longer top.
