Cheap plastic!!
Took one look at these and they are going right back..didn't even try them on. I can't believe sorel would put their name on these. I have a similar pair of sorels from years ago and these look like a cheap knock off. Instead of leather trim these are made of plastic. Look like they would fall apart and start cracking within days of wearing them.

These run very small and narrow. I wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8, even with thinnest socks they were uncomfortable.

Runs a size too small
Beautiful boot but I'm very disappointed that it runs a size small. I own several other pair of Sorel boots and have never encountered this issue.

You get what you pay for
Overall, these a good solid boot. I have owned several Sorel boots over the years and they last a long time. These in particular are not comfortable, not very warm, and do not have a loop on the back of the boot to assist pulling them on. I got a great deal on them so that's why I bought them. Now I understand why they were priced at a discount. Wish I could return them.

Nice boot. unsure of fabric sides.
The fabric sides kind of look like a Brillo pad. I'm just a bit unsure how it's going to look after a season of use. Easy to put on, comfortable to walk in. I went to my higher size of 8.5 with these to allow for bulky socks.
