Waterproof Warmth for the Snow Lover
I spend my winters in the mountains, skiing, snowshoeing, and generally enjoying nature and the outdoors. This means I need a serious snow boot that keeps my feet warm and dry. I have been trying out several styles of boots for snowshoeing in particular. The ones that I could tighten often were low-cut and not suited for the rugged backcountry. The ones that were tall enough often couldn't be tightened enough or were not truly waterproof. These Sorel boots are exactly what I wanted. I have to go up to a 10 in the Sorel brand which is slightly too big but that works with the heavy woolen socks I wear in the backcountry. I can tighten these laces and they stay tight throughout a snowshoeing session. They definitely are waterproof and the fur at the top does a good job of keeping out snow. You see a lot of Sorel boots out in the mountains for a good reason, they're excellent boots, well-made, and designed for those of us who love winter sports. I have several other pairs of Sorel boots and they seem to wear like iron - I wear out the soles long before the tops.

Disappointing
I was quite excited to get these cute, functional boots. I wore them in the snow and my feet were not warm even in the slightest. I actually felt the cold permeating through the bottom of the boot.

Cute but not the warmest
I recently bought these for a to Alaska. They’re lightweight and warm for the most part. I was hoping they were lined like their Caribou model, but it’s not. I do not recommend them if you’re going somewhere that’s below 20-30 degrees. It was about 10 degrees and about 5 inches of snow in Alaska. I wore about 3-4 layers of thick insulated socks. I was able to still feel the coldness through the boots, and my feet went numb within a few minutes. Other than that, these boots look exactly like the pictures.

Almost perfect
its almost perfect !!! Luved everything about it except insoles but would ABSOLUTELY recommend to anyone wanting a splash of color during cold/snowy days lol....I prefer a warmer insole for warmer feet - easy fit, bought shearling insoles & now perfect !!! Warning - Sorel runs small so go half sz up but go 1 sz up if you want to wear heavy socks or opt for thicker insoles.

Cut but not for deep snow!
I love the boots, they are very fashionable and super cute but they are not good for weather below 10 degree. After 30 minutes of walking on snow my front toes were hurting because they were so cold. I wear a size 6 1/2 and based on the reviews that’s what I got which are comfortable but if you want to wear thicker socks you should go half a size up.

True to size
I wear 7.5 in all shoes and sized up based on the reviews. The 8 was too big. Ended up exchanging for the 7.5. Only size up if you plan on wearing a very, very thick sock. Otherwise, your normal size with socks is fine.

I love these boots!
I was super weary after I ordered them by all the reviews about how narrow and small they ran but I had already ordered my normal size for boots (7) so I waited for them to arrived. They feel great for me I don’t have narrow feet, but I do have thin calves so I can see how these may not fit everyone because they don’t have tons of spacious room if you wear super heavy duty socks. For me however with my wool socks these feel super comfortable, not too tight or too loose and I’m really looking forward to seeing how they feel outside in the cold because they seem to be warm and cozy just like I’d hoped.
