Someone once told me…
Someone once told me that they’d had a pair of Sorel boots for decades and they wouldn’t wear out so I wanted to try this brand. So far so great! Walked a few city miles in them last weekend and no breakin required. Glad I went a half size up for thick socks. Love the modern style. Time will tell if they keep my feet warm & dry.

NOT Waterproof
I bought these specifically for my trip to London because they're supposed to be waterproof. I got stuck in London weather with drenched feet. Not a good purchase. They are comfortable to walk in but not for rainy weather. PS. i did NOT step in puddles or treat it like a welly, they're just not as advertized.

Not for high arches
These are beautiful boots and I felt like Cinderella trying to wedge my 5.5 size foot into them. Sadly, it was impossible due to my high arch.

WAY TOO BIG!!
I usually wear size 5.5 and got size 6 for these boots so I can wear thick socks based on the reviews. I received these today but size 6 is huge! See photo attached. I'm wearing my thick Thorlo socks and the boots are about 1.5" longer than my feet. It feels like they're coming off when walking in these. Leather is also not soft so I assume it'd take a while to break in. Will return.

Perfect boots for fall in London
I bought these boots for my vacation to England. I spent 4 days in London sight seeing and then moved to the country side where we toured several historical sights , walked trails etc. These boots were amazing . As with all of my Sorels, they needed no breaking in. I walked all over London including museums, restaurants and shopping. These boots dress up or down with jeans, skirts and I would imagine a dress as well. They are also waterproof. Perfect for IK! The soles were thick enough and comfortable enough so that my feet never hurt the entire time! I did add my own inserts, which was easy. Great purchase at a great price! My friend who I was visiting in England liked them so well she ordered a pair for herself. Both stylish and practical. I love a chunky boot!! And waterproof is key in UK. Highly recommend!

Amazing boots!
Sorel lived upto its hype. The grip is really strong. No complains about the manufacturing. But I took out 1 star because of how it was packaged and delivered in a poly bag. No box. Atleast it should have been sent with some protective wrap on. There were a few scratches here and there, but don't know whether they were because of the poor packaging.
