Slip-Ins Relaxed Fit Sneaker (Women)

This is my first pair of Relaxed Fit Slip-Ins. They are true to size - sort of. Length is good, heel fit is fine, but the toe box is ultra-wide, making them feel too big. I like these so may decide to keep them but will have to wear them with thick, padded socks. Cute style and color with the rose gold trim, but the oversized fit makes them look big as well. I normally wear an 8.5M and will stick to regular fit going forward.

I had bought the slip ins for my 90yr old dad and he loves them. I normally wear New Balance wide width (7.5W), but lately their styles leave a lot to be desired. I decided to give this relaxed fit shoe a try. At first I didn't like that there was a little sparkle in the fabric, but after wearing them I realized it's not noticeable and the comfort of this shoe makes the unwanted sparkle moot. I can't believe how perfect this shoe is for me, even in the gym (weightlifting not cardio). The only negative is that the insole cannot be removed. If they would make this shoe with a removable insole, I would have given it a 5. I like to swap out the cheap insoles with my higher end ones.
