Slim Ankle Pants

If these pants fit right I’d give them an easy 5/5, but the sizing seems off… Given women’s sizing is always off! These pants are shot for shot what the picture looks like and ULTRA stretchy. They are so SO cute, I just wish the sizing wasn’t so funky. I wear a 28 in Ambercrombie and an 8 in the Gap professional pants (I feel like a lot of people wear Ambercrombie and Gap, so it’s a good reference). I’m also 5’8, athletic build, and 150lbs. Im in between a 6 and an 8, never fit into 4D. I have been some times a 10/12, but that’s in H&M *eyeroll* These 8s were huge on me. I didn’t get a photo, but there was no way even taking them to a tailor would be worth it. I ordered a 6 and hope they will fit better, we shall see tho.

I like these pants enough that I'm going to order them in another size, but they are least one size too big and high stretch - not sure if a size smaller will fit and then become baggy through the day. That being said the espresso color is gorgeous and looks expensive. I'm going to order a few more sizes and hopefully one works out.

Why do women's pants so often have fake front pockets???? Why are the back pockets barely big enough to put a coin in?? So tired of a lack of equity in women's clothing compared to men's! It does not cost much more money for a manufacturer to include pockets that exist and are of reasonable size! Waist is true to size, thighs are a bit baggy. Fits like a "short" full-length pant. Has a lower "toe" factor than jeans. Huge shame about the pockets. REALLY wish that the description would have specified this so I wouldn't have wasted my time.
