Compression Shine Straight Leg Crop Pants

These leopard pants are cute, the fabric feels soft and it's good leopard print, you know what I mean. I appreciate that I don't see pants like this everywhere. Also the fabric is super stretchy, which I appreciate. For the price and the brand, there are some features on the pants that make them potentially not worth it. - The button is too small, sliding out of the buttonhole while you are minding your business. Fashion brands should know the button-to-buttonhole ratio. - These are not compression pants. The fabric is too thin to be considered compression. I've gained some weight recently, and my belly hung down in these while I'm sitting. - Faux front pockets. Have we not learned anything? We want pockets. There are two pockets on the butt, but putting my phone in one made the pocket pull down to my upper back thigh since there's no structure to the pant. - The fabric is slippery which is not a dealbreaker, but heed caution when you try to sit at work in these, you may slip off your chair all day. - The fabric is thin and the inside stitching is a bit messy for the price. This may be "pulling strings", but come on, $139 and I get meh stitching on flimsy fabric? - The belt loops are useless because they are made from the pant fabric, making them flaccid loops. Because the fabric is flimsy and ultra stretchy, I just pull them down. No need to unbutton or unzip, except when the button unbuttons itself. I'm 5'6" and these are full length pants on me, not crop, but I heard that is normal occurrence for Good American. Hope this helps in your pant-purchase process.
