Temi Ruffle Cotton Maxi Dress

As stated by other reviews of this brand the sizing is off. I absolutely loved the dress on site alone, it's constructed well and the color is accurate but the sizes are at least 2 sizes too small. I am a true size 11 and I initially ordered a 12 hoping for a little wiggle/dancing room but it fit more like a 10! I reorder a size 14 and it too was a bit small and fit like an exact 12 with no give. It comes to a weird point on the hips and has absolutely no extra room to sit let alone dance at an event. I was more afraid of the split being to high but it was just right with the ruffle giving a bit more coverage. I soooo wanted to love & keep this dress but based on the sizing I would have needed at least a 16 maybe even 18 and alter it just to get a perfect fit. I have never fit nor ordered an 18 in my life and at the price point I just couldn't do it! For reference, I have an athletic build with soft curves so if you are curvy/hourglass this probably won't work for you in the hip area...it's better for someone built like the model in the pic.
