Overall flattering silhouette, but if you have a bit of a tummy, be prepared to wear shapewear underneath, because while the cut of the dress hides larger legs, it fits close to the abdomen so your belly button and any panty waist bulges will show. I also bought the dress in white, which is incredibly see-through

I got this dress in the ivory-black dot, and it is truly lovely! The fit is very flattering and it skims over your body without hugging every bump, which I love! I got the medium because it was the only size left, but the tie at the waist gave me a very nice silhouette. For reference, I am 5’3” and weigh 120lbs and usually get a small. But the medium in this dress is nice enough that I’m keeping it.

I really liked this dress when it arrived. Nice quality. Sheer but lined. Great summer dress for showers, work events, church .... However, I could not zip the small (my usual dress size) to the top. No problem - exchanged for a Medium thought it would have more room for the chest. Nope - again so small across the chest I could not zip much beyond the waist. Not going for a Large - so both are being returned today. Disappointed because it is a very pretty dress.
