Beautiful Dress, but Not for Me

This is a beautiful dress, but it did not flatter my overall looks. I like that the material is somewhat stiff, so there is no need to wear shapewear. If I kept the dress, I would have had the waist taken in. I bought the dress for 'mother of the groom', wedding/reception. Size 4 fit me, and I usually wear a size 6.

This dress SHOULD be gorgeous on - it has so much going for it. Beautiful material, cool neckline, stylish cut, good length. Somehow though, it pretty much misses on all cylinders. As other reviewers have said, it fits weirdly. It is also not very comfortable as the fabric and styling are VERY stiff. The length is great, especially if you're on the shorter side. For a dress to be this expensive and yet seem so cheap is hard to understand. Take a hard pass on this dress and save yourself the time and effort.This one is definitely going back!

Can't lift arms!

Beautiful dress! It looks great on; however, I agree with some other reviews which noted that the sleeve/shoulder area limits arm movement. I could not lift my arms very far. I am going to wear the dress as is and then try to have it altered. A larger size would not have solved the arm sizing issue for me as the rest of the dress was perfect.

Poor sleeve construction

Beautiful colors and fabric but I could not lift my arms higher than shoulder height so I returned. Bought for a wedding and could not imagine attempted to dance in it.

Not for large chests

Very pretty dress but my 36 DD chest was too big for the size 12 dress. It was also impossible to raise my arms even the smallest bit. Unfortunate, because it is pretty.
