Grapefruit Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

I received the correct product in the correct size; however, I noticed the item did not come in a box. This was odd, but the company did include a note stating they do not provide boxes to minimize the amount of packaging. This made me concerned about the condition of the shoe, which I was correct about. There was some damage to both shoes, which made the shoes appear already worn out. The shoe has a leather upper and lining/synthetic sole. The toe of the right shoe is already discolored, as if it were scraped during transport. I can imagine them continuing to fade or damage as I wear them. So I will need to spend more money to purchase products to repair them. There is also some fraying on the edges and the shoe's base. I would return these shoes; however, they are out of stock in the same size that I need, and I have an event that I purchased them for. I will reluctantly keep the product, but I will no longer shop for shoes online here. I wish there were an option upon online purchase to request a shoe box, as I believe the damage could have been easily prevented.

Absolutely love the style and was looking for a going out shoe that I could wear all night. But these run VERY small. I’m very consistently a size 8.5 but should have gotten at least a 9. My heel hangs off a bit in the back unfortunately. My feet aren’t even that wide but these feel narrow, especially the strap on the toes. I really want to love them so I’m planning to keep them in hopes the strap streches out a little and I can move my foot forward for a better fit. I did wear them out for a few hours and they were surprisingly comfortable. I put them on the next day and they actually feel like they fit better already so hopefully I made the right choice. Worth the money but definitely get at least a half size up for a better fit.
