Chateaux Floral Print Organic Cotton Midi Dress

Cons: runs at least a full size too large based on the size chart. The sleeves were huge and too long; they came all the way down to my elbow. The length was also too long, hitting just above my ankles even though I’m not petite. I’m guessing they scaled up the larger sizes based off of the smaller sample size pattern, resulting in odd proportions. Measurements for context: I usually wear an 8 or 10. Bra size 34DDD (US) bust 37.5, waist 29, and hips 39.5 inches. I ordered a size 10 and it was very loose. Pros: the color/pattern is beautiful, just as pictured. However, the pattern is clearly screen printed on so it made for an odd hand feel/texture and I’m not sure how durable it would be. It’s also hard to find 100% cotton clothes, which is what drew me to this dress initially. If you are tall and wear a smaller size, this dress is for you! If you are under 5’8 or so and wear a larger size, steer clear.

This dress is the most flattering cut - sleeve length and opening; not-too-low-v-neck; hem length; waist details that don’t cinch but don’t make it look like a paper bag. But it reeks of rotten fish. Sea salt said some dyes may smell, but it will wash out. I’ve washed it 3 times, it smells up the entire washer. A plea to Sea salt to find alternative dyes!
