Seamed Leather Midi Dress

I bought this dress online and picked up in store same day. It has good weight and lovely shape. It has a zipper that kept on getting stuck going past the bodice to skirt joint. Returned it.

Great dress. The leather is supple and lovely. Style looks timeless and basic. I ordered the large because I need a little extra in the waist. I have never worn a large in my life, but surprisingly, the rest of the dress fit pretty well. I hardly have any hips, so I might have it taken in there. I also need to have it hemmed. It's more of a maxi dress on me at 5'6". I was hoping I wouldn't like it because it was fairly expensive for my usage and lifestyle, but I'm in love so far. I just hope I have somewhere to wear it! I rated it on the runs smaller side because normally I would be swimming in it with a large and I'm not.

This is a timeless dress It runs true to size, the fit flows nicely and the leather is lusciously soft! The 4 stars--it is long and no pockets!!! A dress with this style needs pockets!

This dress has a perfect, beautiful fit. I do agree with another reviewer that the zipper is difficult at the seam.

Dress is really gorgeous but the chest is quite small. Had to get the L for the chest to fit. The rest is roomy in L but the dress is so chic and cool. I took the dress to the Nordstrom tailor who told me not to change anything. So size up if you’re not small chested.

This is the 2d Nordstrom-label black leather piece I have purchased over a few years (blazer duringAnniversary last yr). Again, perfection. I am so happy with the high-end quality for such a shockingly affordable price (<$300)! The softest kid-like leather, perfect finish/texture, beautifully crafted seams/zipper. I am short so of course I had Nordstrom expert alterations hem for me. Otherwise the fit was as if made for me. I am 5'5" slightly curvy medium build usually wearing size 10/Med. I live in a warm climate and always need fall/winter pieces that are not too warm. Will style with bare arms and a shawl, or tonal tight fitting baby Tshirt or long sleeve silk blouse jumper-style w boots in winter. I love it and thanks again to my Dallas Northpark stylist Nancy for always keeping me so chic!
