good for walking
My daughter loves this. They’re comfortable. I was worried that they might not be good for walking, the available size is 7. She’s about 7 or 7.5.. i took my chances and got her the 7 but they fit just fine. We spent one whole day with her wearing them with no complaint of pain. Good buy!

Too Narrow
I bought these in wide width and wide calf. They were incredibly narrow in the foot and incredibly wide in the calf. I wanted to love them but they weren’t comfortable at all.

Here goes..
OK Sam Edelman is special to me. My wedding shoes were Sam Edelmans. When you have Size11+ shoes at age 13 you carry a grudge. And finding these in 11.5 which IS my shoe size decided I would buy these. The leather is soft & supple and incredibly well sewn/ put together. There is no insulation so the temp outside is close to your foot temp. The foot bed is padded however so you are good. The short heel is a nice addition. Maybe not a total 'English Riding' boot. But a beautiful boot nonetheless and one I am proud to call mine.

Looks Cheap and Very Narrow
I’m a huge Sam Edelman fan, but Sam missed the mark with these. I bought them in the brown. They didn’t look anything like the photo when they arrived. They look very cheap. Super narrow too. Will be returning.
