More synthetic in person. Way too narrow and I went up one whole size and I have not worn them outside because they are not a good fit for me. Contemplating returning them. Not happy with the purchase.

Disappointed!
I should have read the details of this item more carefully. The shoes are synthetic and not flexible. I’ve had a less expensive similar sandal that look more like Raffia and are actually more comfortable than these more expensive shoes. I like the look, but I’m definitely glad I got them on clearance.
