Just not great
The Salomon XT6 had some positives at first. They felt comfortable, had good cushioning, and looked great right out of the box. The style is clean and modern which made them easy to wear both casually and for training. However, after only three months of mostly gym use, the glue along the front seam started to come apart which should not happen with a 230 dollar shoe. They also developed odd sweat marks that made them look much older than they were. Even though they are marketed as outdoor ready, they have not held up in a way that reflects their price or reputation.

Half size down!
I listened to the comments about them being true to size and when I tried them on, they were very roomy in the toe box. I suggest sizing down for a true to size fit. Otherwise, I love the shoes themselves!

So comfy and supportive for walking!
I purchased these for an upcoming trip to western Canada as I will be walking and on my feet a TON during our trip, and they are so incredibly comfortable and supportive.
I have a chronic illness and often experience a ton of pain all over my body if my feet aren't properly supported while I walk or stan, and so far these have allowed me to get my fair share of distance in without the extra foot, hip, knee, or back pain. I wear them basically any time I need to be up and moving.
I do also like how the drawstring lace closure tucks away into the tongue, makes sliding my shoes on and off really easy and prevents my laces from getting soiled on muddier walks.
TLDR; These are chronic pain friendly, and I can't wait to try them out in AB/BC this summer!

Everyday wear!
I’ve been wearing my Salomons evryday since I got it. Work, Church, soccer games, holiday, it’s so versatile and comfortable that I an wear it with business casual, joggers, dress, and still look put together. I will however size down half a size next time I purchase a pair, for a “fit like a glove” feel.
