Crocheted High-Low Cover-Up

I was so eager to get this top. I looked at the photos and expected a white heavy cotton thread. The color is light beige. The thread is very thin and combined with a thin cotton thread for sewing. Also, the front is not as low as in the Pic. I am not tall, 5'5-5'6, the front reached only mid-hip. I thought it will be two inches lower. The pattern is beautiful, though. Also, there is a visible seam in the back, although in pictures it is one large piece w/o a seam.
