Details & care

What it is: A electric water kettle that heats up in minutes for you to enjoy delicious beverages.

How to clean: 1. Fill the Kettle with water up to the 1L mark. Place on the Power Base and press the On/Off Button to turn ON. 2. After the water comes to a boil and the Kettle automatically shuts off, remove from the Power Base. Pour in a small amount of dish soap and soak overnight or for 8 - 12 hours. 3. Pour out the soapy water and rinse until no suds remain. 4. Fill the Kettle with 1L of clean water and bring to a boil. Carefully pour out the hot water. 5. Allow your Rapid Kettle to cool, then thoroughly dry with a soft cloth. Note: Make sure that the Kettle, Power Base and cord are completely dry before and after each use.

Great investment
I love this kettle! I've upgraded from the stove top to electric. Love the automatic shut off feature. Doesn't take up too much room on the counter, no more than any other one. I like the blue light that comes on to let you know that the unit is on and working.

😢Five for looks but it leaks
Bought the kettle as a gift over a couple months ago for my husbands birthday on the 26th of April, 2023. It leaks from the window. I went to exchange it at Nordstrom Rack where I bought it but they are closed down and no longer had stock and no longer were accepting returns. It’s a really nice kettle but it leaks. Any suggestions?

Great investment

Excellent.
I have one that I bought approximately 11 years ago which I use quite a few times everyday. Works as if were new, It's stainless steel , heats water quite quickly. The only thing bad I have to say is that the "finishing" at the top of the handle near where you push the button/lever to fill the pot is finished with some sort of laminated layer which has bubbled and started to peel off. It does not affect the function - but aesthetically detracts the overall appearance. I am thinking of buying a Dash long slot toaster due to the great good long life the rapid kettle is giving me (I hope it does not die soon after writing this review.

Rapid Kettle
A little better quality at a better price, but things have gone up in price in general. Kind of bigger that other electric kettles used in past, but I think might be more durable. I think all electric water kettles are hot to touch except handle area, but I'd wondered if this was a little hotter. But I don't think I hardly touched the ones of the past, or I would definitely remember. This one for the first time, I touched it in the beginning of operation, and reminded myself not to do that, which you shouldn't. I must of subconsciously always done this with the ones of the past due to knowing at one that the particular area of the kettle gets hot. Kind of like when getting a new car or a car rental, for the first day or so driving it seems a little different & you take more note of things, and then in no time your use to driving it.
