Waterproof A-Line Long Raincoat

I live in rainy Vancouver, and was after raincoat that i could dress up to wear to work, but also wear casually if needed. I purchased this A-line raincoat in the stunning coal color. i was so happy !!! i am 5ft 2" and weigh 150 lbs at the moment, and the small fit me perfectly. I was very nervous about the length. I wanted something longer, that i could wear with longer dresses or skirts,but often longer things can look frumpy, and i tend to get lost in all the extra material. It wasnt like that at all. the shape of this jacket is so flattering even on a petite! It came halfway down my calf, which i thought was perfect for any length of dresses or skirts for my build. I expected to need a medium as i normally wear either a medium or a large in tops, but the small had more than enough space for me. I can easily layer a thick warm sweater underneath if i wanted and i would still have plenty of space. for reference, i am curvy, with a decent amount of muscle mass and a larger bust ( 34 H) and this was not tight at all. The jacket finish is so stunning in the coal color. It is so unique, and when i saw the sheen i was instantly obsessed! It is really unique, and something i will keep for years to come. it is rainproof in heavy rainfalls, and has an awesome sized and shaped hood. Really happy with my purchase!!

I really wanted to like this coat but it definitely runs large. The medium came past my knees like I wanted it to, but the sleeves were too long and the whole thing was just too big. The snaps at the wrist also don’t help much - even I had sized down, the wrists would be too loose and let water in. I liked the lightweight aspect of the jacket, but the rubbery material almost feels cheap and definitely not worth the full price.
