Slade Corduroy Blazer

I don’t understand the negative reviews on this one. I bought this oversized but this blazer is absolutely lovely. I think it looks better in person! Color is true deep rich expensive looking brown shade. Deep coffee color more cool toned brown not a yellow tone brown. Looks great with olive skin tone! It’s a deep regal, rich look that is a basic that just works. The structure of this jacket also makes it work perfectly. The middle section runs a tad bigger in the fit but the arms and chest area true to size. Well endowed ladies will appreciate this. It’s not lined but that is great for layering and temperature control as I am over 50. This reminds me of the cord blazers from the 80s style only better with a modern twist and flattering style. I plan to wear this with jeans and Birks or boots or loafers when the weather gets cooler. Can’t wait to style this one. It’s a keeper which says a lot as I am very picky about the look and comfort of my clothing.

I like the jacket but the color is not good. It’s not really the brown you expect. To me, it has a purple hue. It’s very difficult to find a top that works with it.

I didn't want to spend the $$ but once I tried it on, the price was justified. Has a very soft touch with a simple fancy look. This will be a year-round wearable item.

Actually, I love the Rag and Bone Slade style blazer, (and I have many of them in various fabrics) but this was a disappointment. Corduroy feels cheap and thin and this blazer doesn’t have the usual quality of what you’d expect from Rag and Bone. Also, why did they change the buttons from the classic Rag and Bone logo buttons to generic cheap looking ones? Going to return.

I expected this to be a quality blazer. It is not. Can’t believe the price point for this. Should be half the cost. There is no lining. It’s so weird. It almost seems like they forgot to finish it!! I started to think it was a mistake. Go buy some corduroy fabric, grab a pattern for a jacket, and sew yourself something similar. Seriously!!
