Simone Slim Ankle Pants

I’m somewhat relieved I didn’t like the fit of these pants, because of the price. They felt constricting around my legs as soon as I put them on. The legs are so narrow that I found them hard to put on (harder than workout pants). The front looked good but the tightness I felt was visible from the back. The back looks terrible and pulled across my thighs and created lines that reflect that the pants are too tight. The waist and length were perfect but these must be better on someone who is straighter than I am. I am 5’5”, 132 lbs, 27” waist, 38” hips, typically wear a 6 (4 in brands that run big like WHBM), 28 in designer denim. Perhaps an 8 would have been better. I couldn’t wait to take them off. The fabric reminded me of a ticker version of the Nic & Zoe Wonderstretch (and with a higher rise). I opted for the Liverpool Kelsey knit trouser in size 4 instead.

I love these pants and have them in both navy and black. They fit well and stay looking fresh all day. They are classic, stretchy and comfy. The back zipper means the front stays flat which is a bonus for someone with a belly like mine. They are a little stiff but for me, that’s ok . I think the structure of the pant makes them great for work or dress up for a dinner out. For sizing info -- I am curvy, weigh 161lbs and ordered a size 14.
