Gaping Buttons

I normally wear a small or medium, and I got a medium. The buttons gaped around the chest, which means it was still too small. I do *not* have a large chest, so this seems like a design flaw. The rest of it was exactly as the photos make it look. It will not hide bra straps from showing through the fabric at all.

Very very small across the bust

Very small across the bust in relation to the size. For reference , I am 140 lbs 5' 6 and DD. The XL is much too small across the bust . From my extensive wardrobe and decades of shopping , i find this shirt in an xl to be about a generous size 10 . this shirt is being returned. Not well made for the money
