Featherweight Logan Two-Tone Mid Rise Wide Leg Jeans

I ordered these jeans because I kept seeing them and the two-tone effect just seemed like fun. These jeans are not inexpensive, so I appreciated that they were discounted. I am very used to wearing jeans with stretch, so this fabric will take some adjustment. They are wide leg--though not enormously so--but the waist is fitted. I toyed with the idea of exchanging them for a larger size, but I think that I am just not used to the lack of stretch. I keep reading that the cotton/lyocell just needs to be broken in, so I'm going to give that a try. I am only 5'4", so these jeans definitely will require hemming. The ankle length jeans are always perfect on me, but these are way too long. Until recently, I was wearing a 30-31, but I have lost weight, and 29 seems to be my new size; that is what I purchased in these jeans. I will say that I think I will give careful thought to the tops i will wear with them, because I think styling them will require some care to avoid mixing styles or too many elements. That said, I think I am going to like them!
