Clinton Canvas Bucket Bag

This is a beautiful bag and well worth the discounted price! The canvas and leather are of high-quality and it is a good size and very attractive. My only issue is that the shoulder strap is not fixed on the end of the bag with the buckle while the strap on the other end (with the long strap) is fixed to the bag. The issue occurs when you put items in the bag— the fixed end stays put but the top of the bag on the non-fixed end slides down, causing the purse to bunch up on that end. This issue is particularly noticeable if your purse items are placed towards the long strap end of the purse. I am keeping the bag and I’m going to see if I can keep my belongings on the sliding side of the bag, preventing it from sliding down and bunching up. Worst case scenario, I punch a couple holes in the strap and fix it to the bag prevent preventing it from moving.

Love this bag. It’s a great size- big enough for all my stuff (wallet, glasses case, makeup bag, day runner) yet not too ginormous. Now, I’m 5’8” and wear an xl/14. So you petite ladies might find it too big proportionally. I can’t wait for the strap to soften up and wear in. It’s a little stiff, but will get better with age since it’s a nice thick genuine leather.

The Navy and black is subtle but classy. The hardware is elevated, and the strap adjusts to wear it comfortably with a winter coat. Aside from an interior side zip pocket there are not pockets or dividers - which I prefer because I have a bags within bag’s philosophy. The interior is not black so you can see into the bag. It is great for running errands, taking to work, gym. It easily holds my essentials for the day. And the price?!? Worth every penny.
