Casey High Rise Flare Leg Jeans

Beautiful pair of jeans. I am 5’04 135lbs small framed and curvy. I am normally a size 26 in jeans. Upon trying on these pair of jeans in a size 26, I absolutely loved the fit. They are very high waisted and fit my frame BUT were very long. The seamstress came and took measurements to make them my perfect size. Although she hemmed them, the integrity of the flare was not comprised. Lard talk about the wear after a few hours. After wearing for a few hours, I noticed that the jeans began to loosen a lot. They fit ok but not how I originally wanted them to fit. I would catch myself pulling them up to often. I went on Nordstrom’s website and immediately orders the size 25 as I knew these jeans would sell out. Thank goodness that I did because they did sell out. Before I thought of taking the size 25 to get hemmed, I decided to wash the size 26 to see if it would shrink. They did not. I wore the 26 after washing them and again, they got loose. I don’t believe I can take the 26 back since I hemmed, wore and washed them. I am eager to see how the 25 will fit after a wash. Again, these are amazing pair of jeans I just need to get the size 25 hemmed. I would strongly recommend going a size down because they will relax a whole size. I have a few rag and bone jeans and it seems to be the case with my other pair. I hope this helps someone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pair of Rag & Bone jeans might just be their softest thick/regular jean yet, but I just couldn’t keep them. The hemline is so, so very long that it is a given you will have to have them hemmed—for me it would be about 4”. I’m 5’7”, 129lbs and the 28 fit great, except in length. At this price point, I don’t want to spend MORE money to get them to fit me better. I shop ready-to-wear so that the clothes can be ready to wear. Other than that, I really appreciated the jeans.

These pair of jeans are so nostalgic to me. I remember this fit and texture in the 90’s and were my favorite because of the great quality. Although it doesn’t have much give, it has some stretch. I originally went in to Nordstrom and purchased a size 26 and it fit perfectly to my frame as I am to be considered curvy. After wearing them throughout the day and by evening I recognized my jeans gave some stretch. It wasn’t too bad but I loved the fit when I originally put them on. I am 5’04 and my weight is 135lb. I did have them hemmed and it did not take away from the integrity of the flare. I did circle back around and purchase the size 25 just to be safe. I have not washed my size 26 yet to see if they would shrink and that is why I jumped to order the 25 because I knew these jeans would sell out. These jeans complement my figure and I received so many compliments on the jeans when I went out. Easy pair of jeans to dress up or dress down. I will keep you posted once I wash the size 26. I don’t mind owning two pair of the same jeans because they look and feel great!
